- Hi all, So glad to join the group. I believe I have some acquaintences within this group. I teach dog obedience and volunteer with a local rescue group. At any given time we will have 1-2 foster dogs in additon to our own two dogs. We have a 10 y.o. AmBull/boxer/ Pit mix, Chaplin, who we rescued @ 5 weeks from a homeless man. He is a fetch-a-holic - use a tennis ball and he can be trained to do most anything Our second dog is a purebred SBT named, Snow. She is 5 y.o. and an awesome dog-very well rounded in her abilities. She is easy to train and is the current demo dog for my dog training classes. I have worked Snow & Chappy in agility, flyball, some PSA and currently we are doing Canine Freestyle. (Much easier on Chappy's hind legs as both have plates in the knees from two TPLOs) I have never learned how to teach Frisbee but have a foster dog who I know would love it. I hope by joining I will get some tips on how to work with her.
