My Life, My Family

I love my family, my family consist of, my husband, a very wonderful man, my farm animals, and of course, my dogs. I also am licensed to provide Foster care to children in our county, and I provide foster care for our local Animal Humane Society. Recently I emailed my family, inviting them to view this site and my page. They all had different ideas of the BSL Ban. But most of them have really changed their minds after meeting my Pit Bull. I have had the honorable opportunity to share my life wi… Continue

Hi

Very fine photos... i like that video about Nam, that was terrible. They went there as young boys, thought they did the right thing. When they came home they have to meet the hate from people because they have been there and served their country.. not only vere they in very bad shape when they got home, but instead of help they were humiliated.

Hello Lisa,
Good looking dogs you have there and you foster too. I once looked at "Pit Bulls" with a jaundiced eye, BSL wasn't the answer but I wouldn't have picked one for my pet. Then on Dec 1, 2006 I found that puppy in my arms and took him in. Didn't have clue what he was till he got a bit older. i got antsy then but rather than ditch him I did some research about the Bully breeds and decided to make him a good dog, an asset to the breed if i could. He is a sweet dog and gets along with all the people and dogs he has met. He takes an attentive interest in our cat (he was a one poud kitten when we found him on the side of the road) and the cat tolerates it for a bit and then runs off but not too far. Parvo ( the dog ) is a fetching fool and I am trying to get him to do the disk thing. Wish me luck.
Best regards,
Marcus Hill

Hi Lisa, I love your story! I've been a bully convert for 12 years now and I can't even imagine having any other kind of dog anymore. Good luck with the kitties...it can be tough to curb the small animal agression, but it can be done.

Hi Lisa

Its a problem that with his agression to small animals. Maybe with time someone if you have sombody that can adopt him can change that behaviour. It was good that you had the ability to stop him when going for the cat. They dogs that you take care of have a fine place to be. The other animals take care of them well. What a wonderful place you have for your family and all animals at that farm.

Im sorry that i cant help you. I have no contacts at all in USA. We are trying now as a fact to find people in Sweden that can adopt four Pit Bul sisters that otherwise has to be neutered in a few days.

Hope you will find someone or someones that can adopt Leo.
