Have you met Wallace in person?
Not yet, but we hope to run into them at a disc dog competition this summer!
About Me:
I'm the proud daddy of Belle who is a APBT Disc Dog as well. She thinks Wallace is "just dreamy" and wants to follow in his paw prints. Belle has won 6 medals in 4 competitions so far!

We adopted her from our local humane society when she was 8 weeks old. We also have 2 other dogs, Buddy is a Foxhound/Retriever mix and Bailey is a Beagle mix. Both Buddy and Bailey are older than Belle, who was born Sep. 06. They keep her in line and we have a happy pack here. My wife is the "dog mother" and my daughter and son both love the dogs.

My 12 year old son Burton also competes in Disc Dog events with Belle. It's one of the most rewarding things that we have been able to do together. Burton has most of the medals Belle has won so he likes to trash talk on the old man... I don't mid a bit!

Belle is our first pibble, but I'm certain she won't be our last. I have recently inquired about becoming a foster home for bully's with a local shelter here in Northern KY. I can honestly say that having Belle as a part of my life has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. She is an inspiration to me and the entire family.

Here's a video produced by Jeff Duff of the Flying Houndz of Louisville of Burton and Belle competing in a Skyhounds Time Trail event in July of 2007. It was memorable for several reasons, it was our first ever competition and Burton was competing against some of the best adult disc doggers in our region. He took 3rd place and we all went nuts! He even made is old dad cry with tears of pride and joy for his boy and their dog!

For those of you not familiar with the "Time Trial" the dog must catch 2 throws of 20 yards or greater in the shortest possible time. She made the first catch even though you can't see it on the video.

Ned the foster dog is home wiith us!

Here are some photos I took of Ned, our new foster dog after bringing him home today. He's such a sweet boy. I gave him a bath without any trouble and took him on a walk around the neighborhood. He's great on a leash, great with people and other dogs as well. I couldn't have asked for a better situation with my first foster. He knows how to sit for a treat and I've already started working on "down" with him. Some of these pictures show him playing with Belle, she's in love I think...… Continue

We're going to foster a cute pibble boy!

WOW! I can't believe this. I recently signed up to be a foster parent for pibbles at a local rescue. Well I got an email tonight that they have a dog for me and I'm going to pick him up on Saturday. He's 10 months old and quite a handsome boy! here's a link to him on the web http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11507294 More news to follow! Burt

North Central Regional Disc Dog Competition

Hey all! Burton, Belle and I went to New Castle Indiana on Saturday to compete in Distance and Accuracy events. Burton and Belle took home another 1st place medal in the Junior Division to bring her medal count to 7 in just 2 short seasons. She was the only Pit Bull in the competition... Peace! Burt

Winning more medals!

Hi all!! Just a quick note to let you all know that the whole family went to a Skyhoundz Disc Dog event today in Milford Ohio. Burton and Belle won first place in junior distance and accuracy and I won 2nd place with Belle in intermediate distance and accuracy. That brings her medal count to 6 in just 4 competitions! I'm so proud of my baby girl! I'll post some of the pictures of the event later. I'm pooped! Peace, Burt

He's adorable!! I know, I would love to keep every one that I find, but I can't. We are gonna keep Red. My son's 2yr old Pit that was given to him at 7 weeks, was repossesed?? by his step-brother who decided to just "take him back". He was heartbroken, as we all were. Killough was awesome! But the way the "owner" is, we will probably get him back. But Anth took to Red and he needs a new baby! I know that Ned will be WELL cared for and get a very good home!

How do you train your dog to jump higher? My disc dog will jump for the disc but not very high in the air. Do you train on a spring pole? Congrats on all your winnings.

Yes i know... Sorry about that. I did not know i would be at this interesting forum with so much nice people that do not know Swedish;) In some pages it is in Enlish, for instance "Länkar" that is Links... When we have kennel, the website will of course be in english. It is too much work to translate it now, you have pics and movies you can look at if you like though.

Yes i am back. We have a big house we are fixing up totally on the inside and outside now so its a lot to do. Sophie is studying business on the University here and we have three webshops and of course we want be out much with our wonderful dogs here in the summer.

This is both a good forum and its important to spread the right facts about the breed to people. Its a lot of wonderful and dedicated people here that has made increadibly much for the breed. I try to spread the word in Sweden in debate articles and in my blog and on my dogs website. Justice must win over false reports and lies from media and politicians in the end. What they pump out to the people is so far away from the truth that it just cant go on for ever...

One thing talks against that justice and common sense will win over prejudism and lies and that is that if someone keep repeating the lie for enough many times it will in the end be the truth for most people.. But for these fine dogs and for our children that must have the opportunity to choose to have the best breed in the world we must fight. Fight for the dogs that cant speak for themselves.

Heavy D is weighing in right now right at 70lbs. He was about 90 and we got the playyard up and started excercising more and building more muscle tone. We cut back, which we fed him the same amount as the others, on his food and that didn't slow the weight down. We have 13 on premises right now, 4 rescues, and I have been really busy with working two jobs. I am getting to take each out and work with them seperately, so they won't be distracted, and they are loving it! So are we! We needed it with this many! They all have excellent pens but we really needed to fence off the play yard and get all of it treated and kill the pest so we can put them out to just play or train. D will be cart pulling and weight pulling.
