There are a few international groups that evaluate, but you have to find obedience classes on your own. The Therapy test point can be found here http://www.tdi-dog.org/tditesting.html and are just a beefed up version of the AKC's Canine Good Citizen test. PIt bull type dogs are accepted by all of the organizations. In fact, German Shepherds are the most common Therapy Dogs in my organization & since they were banned as "child eaters" in the 1970s, all breeds are welcome. Delta, Love on a Leash and Therapy Dogs Inc. are other organizations, but this one had an evaluator in my area. The test is $10 and if you don't get 100% you don't pass. Either way, it's just great training to reinforce dog manners.

At 10:51am on June 2nd, 2008, dustin heathman said…: hey, sorry its taken me awhile to respond to ya...cool pics...ive been tryingto get the hang of this new camera i got. i do tree work and lawns,and this elderly lady asked if i would do some work for a camera.i looked at it and said sure...its a canon dvr/camera with all the bells and whistles...things even got a remote control!
so anyway heres a goofy little video i took of my youngsters.and keep cool in daytona...oh yeah,its a ways away but i found out you can bring your dogs to st. augustine beach.
