- About Me:
- My love of this amazing breed began with a red-nose rescue named Shaolin. He was rescued by an old roomie after someone tied him to a tree for several days with not enough slack to even lie down. I was inspired by how he was able to leave all that behind and still be the best dog I'd ever known. After my roomies moved out of town and on with their lives I felt a giant hole in my life without Shaolin. I rescued my first of 3 beautiful pit mixes-Damen, then Delilah, and just recently Dylan. After adopting Damen, I rethought my career path ( at that time I was a medic working 24 hours on an ambulance-very thankless job!) and applied at both a doggie daycare center in our town, as well as a veterinary clinic. I still enjoy both jobs every day, and would have never even considered such a change had I not become a pittie mom! Everything I do is for my 3 D's, and I feel I still cannot do enough to give back all the love they share with me. They have too many 4 legged freinds to count, and are always receiving compliments on their exemplary behavior. I am proud to walk my 3 pit bulls in a perfect heel, and have people tell me after meeting them they would forever change their views about pit bull stereotypes. I think the most amazing thing about my pups is that each one of them has a different personality that collectively feels like me! They have helped me understand myself, my life and given me a reason to want to make a difference in something in this world-all while constantly, and silently telling me that I can.

Wanting to help try to put a stop to BSL? (Breed Specific Legislation) Come join in on the fun! I would like to invite you to be a part of a brand new online community that I am a part of!! Please don’t be misguided by thinking that the site is only for “Breeders”, that is not so. This site is in its beginning stages and has only been up and running for less than 6 months now.And were already up to 2400+ active members.
