Kelly-
I can't even go look at it since your tags mention fighting..I'm too afraid of what I'd see----I've already seen too much, including what I saw of the dog that is now playing catch---with himself---up and down my hallway as I type this!
But if it has anything on there about selling dogs for fighting, or info about fighting (i.e. pix, etc), do you think it is something you could bring to the police's attention? Does it say where they are/what state...if so maybe start with the state troopers for that state, or the state prosecutor's office? I'm sure their contact info would be google-able. And if it doesn't say a state, maybe try to google contact info for federal prosecutors or internet task forces for the feds?
I *believe* dog fighting is now illegal in all states, a federal offense in many. I know the laws here in NC stink, as the cops have to actually SEE the dogs fighting (dead bodies with injuries the vet's can say are due to dog fights can't count as evidence of fighting...only as evidence of "cruelty...NOT a federal offense...crazy)
Sorry if my advice is absurb and not related to that link...I really just can't go look. Don't worry, I am not playing ostrich...I just can't look at photos.

Off topic----does anyone know the rules about YouTube? Are videos of dogs fighting allowed? I've seen several headers that make me think it would be a video of a dog fight, and would want to report it if it is against the rules.

How Gross!!! How can this be true??? In the site they tell people that fighting is legal? Where in the US is that ture? What is wrong with people? No money is worth torture & pain to helpless animals. How do these same people treat their kids?

I'm wondering if it's just one big sick attempt at a joke. Regardless, I wonder if some organization like HSUS or the ASPCA would be able to investigate it. Dog fighting is illegal in all states and a felony in most with some pushing for it to be a felony nation wide.

Definitely. I treid to find a place on YouTube to report an illegal image on their site. Most places have something like that. YouTube doesn't, or didn't at that time, maybe this will get something going on that.

I think this has got to be a joke. I mean there's a "quote" from Mike Vick on the page that says

M. Vick - Atlanta, GA
"I've held dog fights in my back yard for years and I'm barely under investigation!"

Plus if you look at some of the stuff of the "Questions" page it's pretty silly.

So I think it's a hoax, in bad taste, but a hoax none the less.

I've seen this before, it's weird and creepy. Snopes says it's a hoax, but even if it is it's dang disturbing!

I think Jennifer is right. I now think it is a hoax. The Mocrosoft software "Fight Tracker" ad at the bottom of the link is not real. I am so sorry that I didn't research more before I posted this. I was just so shocked & appauled I couldn't think clearly. I still want that link off the internet! It is one sick idea of a hoax. I guess there is nothing thatcan be done?

I was going to fill out their "contact us" form and tell them it wasn't funny, but decided not to. It reminds me of the classic line from "Cool Hand Luke":

"Some men, you just can't reach" ;)

I watch a lot of YouTube videos to see what NOT to do on ours. Like having your awesome pit showing the ability to jump a pool and all of you have a drink in your hand and are having to bleep all the foul language. It would be a great video and credit to the race without the very thing people want to see, drunks and irresponsible behavior. I have pix of us having a picnic at the house, with our dogs, and we have beers. Those are not BAD and I don't post them everywhere. When we video we want a good setting and are very into what we are doing with our dogs. Were not hanging poolside, blasting tunes, and cursing. I'm not downing them, their lifestyle or their dog, she seems awesome, but that just adds to "bad name" with the association. Some people do have "fights", I haven't seen a bad one, but any is bad and I tried to report it but YouTube ignored me. Obviously if they will post a girl getting beaten by 6 kids, they will post anything. YouTube can help and hurt us, by who is posting. Some people name the video something like, "A Vicious Pit Bull Fight" and you get to it and it isn't, they just want people to watch it and sick people will click on a title like that. I decided I would not post any of my video's on YouTube and the only way I will is on myspace page which is private and I am discriminatory on who has acess to my photos. I don't share so no one can have the option of taking one of my pix and distorting it and placing it somewhere else. Oh, of course I will post here:)

It's okay, the post needed to be made, now more people are aware and can complain to who is responsible. If anyone does post on YouTube maybe try titling it "This is on Wallace" or something, if Roo and Wallace don't mind. Everyone knows they are awesome and maybe it will bring more responsible owners here and then we have more on our side, the good side!
