A "Pit Bull Attack", yeah right.

I went to see Shaft and Bella tonight. They are fine and I got a pretty good bath, lol! I took Rose with me, she is feeling alot better. She'll eat anything but I didn't know she would eat all my WEDDING FLOWERS, lol! Well, Shaft went to see a "friend" who has a Chihuahua. Well, for some reason it latched onto Shaft's neck and would not let go. Shaft was shaking his head and body trying to throw it off but it had a big time grip on his neck. Well, he turned his head and got ahold of the back of it and pulled it off of him. He did not attack it or hurt if afterwards. He just got it off of his neck the only way he could. He grabbed it with his mouth and it punctured the lung of the Chihuahua. But it was "Shaft's fault and it scarred the child (owner of the Chihuahua) and is too big of a dog to do what he did". AH, HELLO! WTH? Almost everyone I know that has a Pit has had their dog attacked and 9 times out of 10 the Pits don't even try to defend themselves. Shaft tried to get the dog off of him without hurting it. He is very gentle with smaller dogs. I trust him completely with Rose. He has a 3 month old that lives with him, Jay got her a couple of weeks ago. She is Axl's sister. I just get sooo mad when I hear things like this, especially about dogs that I KNOW. But because owners of Pits are also good people, Jay just paid it, apologized and won't be back needless to say. My daughter's "friends" quit coming to see them when Harley got to be about 3 or 4 months old. Ignorance is so rampant and incurable!

Sick... Do they not have ANY responsibility at all? Their dog can dont do antything it likes without consequenses, its animals. Lucky for them it was a Pit Bull and not another big dog. Most of the other rases would have killed that little dog for doing what it did. Jesus...

Exactly. I sat last night trying to think of another breed, and I have had a lot, that would not have attacked back, and I can't. Very lucky for the little !@#$% , small breed of "Alligator mouth, Hummingbird A$$" canine, lmao! Really though, it is so ridiculous.

A situation similair to that happened to Oscar and I. When we go on our nightly walk there is a house we walk past and there are frequently a dacshund and a chiuaua(?) that are outside of their fence and not on a leash and want to pick a fight with Oscar. He thinks they just want to play and doesnt understand why we have to high tail it out of there. If anything were to happen I know how is going to be blamed even though we are the ones being responsible and followin the rules about fences and leashes. Its absurd that pits have the reputations that they do because they are just playful fun loving dogs who think every person and thing is there to play with them. Its ridiculous!!!

Yes, that is ridiculous. Taking a walk is supposed to be a fun thing. I don't believe hate is born into an animal, it is made that way by circumstance (in the wild) or owners (domesticated). Harley got bit every time we went into PetSmart with him, every time! By smaller dogs! He thought they wanted to play. He would just look at them like, "hey, what was that for?". Now PetSmart has banned Pit Bulls where we live. And Chewy was in his fenced back yard when other dogs (in city limits, off leashes and running around) would dig under and attack him. Yet when police were called by the owners who didn't even know where their dogs were, Chewy was to blame, My cousin fined out the wazoo and then made to take out a 100,000 insurance policy, just on Chewy. It had to be a Bully owner who came up with, "The more people I know, the more I like my dog!" Thanks for the input and I'm sorry ya'll have to go through that just for a walk.

Wow, this is a classic! I went to my dad's shop to get some coolant in my car and I had Rose. We went inside and one of my dad's friends just played with her and said she was so pretty colored. She ate it up! He left and another (grown) man comes in and Rose walks up, wagging that tail and smiling, she has a great smile. He FROZE and said, "I'm about to get bit!". I thought he was joking! So did Dad. But he wasn't. I was stupified! Dad said, "No, but you may be licked to death so be careful." Then he and I just busted out laughing. Like I said, a lot of gaming goes on in Arkansas and Everyone who doesn't own one or know one think they are all vicious, blood lusting beast. I mean, Rose could bring blood but she wouldn't and she is only 4 months! I guess he will have a heart attack when she gets bigger and we go visit! LMAO!

Looks like Shaft has some shar-pei in him. Pits do not curl their tails like Shar-Pei's do. Sorry to hear about that because it is another story that will be passed amongst idiots.

Well, sorry but Shaft is of a very long, traceable line, of pure APBT. No Sharpei involved. My SIL has Shapei's. Please post nicely, don't make this like an argument forum.

Shaft attacking a Chihuahua? LOL! Jay's had a rough go of it. At least he has Shaft to help cheer him up!

Why did that comment offend you?
It was not meant to offend you i was just observing his tail so excuse me.
If you read it you would see that i am a pit bull lover also and i was defending you but all you saw the the comment about his curly tail.
So calm down and read it again.
