About Me:

I am training a bully mix as my new mobility assistance dog because my German Shorthaired Pointer is getting up in age and is starting to suffer health issues. I wanted a dog that would be sturdy, smart, gentle, stable, and short-haired so I wouldn't be vacuuming tons of hair because of arthritis. It took me 5 other dogs (not bully breeds) to finally find the right one, and I really think I've found her! I think it's downright silly to BSL such intelligent dogs when they can be helpful to so many people.

Surrido has Flecks figured out! LOL!

With all the other dogs we have had, Flecks would stand over them and "talk" trying to convince them that they should give up whatever toy, bone, biscuit, stick, etc. that they had even though she had either already finished hers or had a duplicate 5 feet away. Surrido, so far, is the only dog I have had not falling for it. She just completely ignores her, gnawing happily away!
