Personally, I'm DEATHLY SICK of the CONSTANT usurpation of our CONSTITUTION!!! This has NOTHING to do with "DANGEROUS" dogs at all! It is about CONTROL!!! If they can legislate away a "right" ie. to "ban" a certain breed of dog, then they can use th…

This is good news, at least now Denver has a fighting chance to abolish the ban altogether.

Patty, I am having a real problem staying logged in to this website, for some reason it kicks me out everytime I try to send messages and post discussions. Some issue with my computer, or something...that's why I was unable to post the discussion yesterday about the 2nd round of voting; I was however, able to send some messages; this is a copy of the message I sent and the link if you want to repost it! Thanks for staying on top of this here!

OK, folks, here we go again. 2nd round voting has started on Change.org. All prior totals have been reset to zero, so you must vote again. There are 29 categories, with 3 initiatives in each, and only the TOP 10 will be presented. This means everything is in competition with each other; though you may support many ideas, it is important to remember that a vote for another idea could boot Ban BSL out. Why is Ban BSL important? BSL denies people due process. It automatically assumes guilt with no evidence. Beloved pets are confiscated, killed, and families suffer. It restricts freedom of movement and travel for those with certain breeds as pets and service dogs. It has punished good owners and nice dogs, while the problem of owner behavior is not addressed. It does not increase public safety, as it doesn't address the causes of dog attacks. Practically, it is a good initiative, because it requires no money -- it is simply stating that BSL laws are not allowed in the US. Period. Make your choice, and add your vote. Voting runs until the 15th. Please crosspost this link!

I will email you some videos and other stuff and the name of that dog we discussed when you accepted me as friend here, i dont think i can do it otherwise? I cant find the e-mail function. I dont want to even say the name of that dog.. if a crackhead with money sees what they can do and start backyard breeding those and spread them over the country you wont be able to go out of your house .... Not without shotguns and in group i can tell you;)

I said in that previous post 15 inch by 15 inch which would be impossible unless they were smurfs, I obviously meant 15 by 15 foot minimum.

Im not sure what you mean by restricted (non) dog breeds, Theres not a lot of restrictions here. Its a shame Pits were demonised by the media, as they would have been fine. We just got approval on importing the Savannah cats and other large hybrids. I have a Snow Bengal, who im not allowed to have outside unattended.

Hey Patty,

I live in the dead centre of the city pretty much, Brunswick is about 6-8Km (2-3miles) from the main CBD.

The legislation is state specific here, Pits are banned in NSW(New South Wales) but legal under restriction everywhere else. (we kind of won/ had some half decent people in senate that day, here in Victoria)

You must have them leashed on walks and in a 15"x15" cage. My dog is an inside dog so I dont have a cage. Pits are the only dog out of the 5 "restricted breeds" that actually exist in this country or on earth, funnily enough. They have banned a dog that is extinct believe it or not.
