About Me:

I am a member of a responsible dog owners advocacy group in the greater Kansas City, Missouri area. We promote legislation that is sensible, enforceable, and does not target responsible owners.

In addition to fighting at city hall we have moved into the courtroom. A number of city's in the metro area have BSL. In some of the cities the enforcement is extremely aggressive and targets owners of any short haired dog with four legs and a tail. We have been assisting those owners that have fallen victim to BSL prepare legal defense and/or secure legal counsel.

Folks would simply be AMAZED at what passes for a pitbull in some of these cities. It is very obvious that some law enforcement agencies are merely racking up stats to gain kudos with their superiors and city leaders. I for one can say first hand "Don't believe any stats in any city listing the dog bite data for pit bulls".
