I looked through the forum and couldn't find anything specific about dog food. I'm trying to find a healthy dog food that may limit the hives poor Lola has been suffering from. At the risk of starting a major debate what do you guys and gals think is the best dog food for our pups. Too help eliminate variables I thought it might be nice to include your dog's age, activity level and whether they suffer from any allergies or conditions. Oh and if you want include how much it costs that'd be nice. Thanks for the helping my research everyone!
We too are struggling with the food issue. Recently we discovered that our pup (Ike) might possibly have food allergies. We rescued him earlier this year, he will be 2 in Jan. He has tons of energy & will play fetch/ball until your arm falls off! He is about 60lbs now hopefully will not get much bigger. We think he is allergic to wheat or chicken or yeast? He is currently on "Royal Cain - Venison & Potato" but he hates it so? Any suggestions?

I feed Wallace Orijen. He's got really bad allergies and he does well on the 6 fish formula. There's also a Regional Red formula that I want to try out on him also. He can't do chicken or grains, but the 6 Fish and Regional Red don't have either.
